how do I check a domain's backlinking profile?

Without using expensive tools like AHREF, that is.

I have purchased a few domains 2 years ago because at that time they seemed good (ie not spammed to death), but now I need to check them again to see if they still have the same number and quality of backlinks, as well as the same DA/PA TF/CF metrics.

Can someone please recommend FREE solutions (even if I have to do this manually, I don't mind) for checking these metrics?

It didn't work. I tested it with 3 domains: 2 of them that are currently put out for sale and 1 domain that is active at the moment. The active domain has over 100 backlinks (from over 100 different domains) but Ubersuggest only shows that it has 1 backlink, coming in from 1 domain LOL.

Unfortunately, this tool didn't help, but thanks for the tip :)
 
Invest $7 and get the Ahrefs trial.

Yet you won't spend $7 to speed things up?

Maybe HAF and offer $5 for them to do it.

exactly. I do have plenty of hours to waste on research instead of playing Grim Dawn, so I don't mind to do some manual research. I do have the money to pay, but I just wish to do it manually to improve my skills :)

You can have a general picture of a domain. For more details you have buy ahrefs. Go to one of the group SEO buy, you can have it for 6-7 bucks.
