Hey BHW,

Could anyone please tell me how to change my ip. I have a dynamic ip and have tried all the usual ways, reset my modem etc.....

Would using a proxy server work? I have gone through a proxy and my ip changes but this is a free service so would this ip through the proxy be blacklisted?

I am going to buy a FB fan*page and I was wondering if my ip would be detected by FB as mine and cause the FB page I buy to be banned.

Any help would be great!

Thanks for reading

Bosco

changing MAC address will give you new IP. but you will not able to switch among IPs. once IP has been changed there is no guarantee you will get the old IP again even after resetting the original MAC address.
Most proxies are detectable and i have no idea how FB works against IP.

it is ok to have 1 facebook profile to have many different fan pages...you will not be banned. if 1 single ip have too many facebook profile.....will be.

2 facebook profile 1 ip....is more secure...as to how many exact, not too sure

Cheers aasmaforu,

While I understand that I will not get back my original ip after changing it, would FB or any other sites where i would have multiple accounts flag me if I login with a different ip every time?

Has anyone got the T*or browser bundle and is this a solution to having multiple acc in FB or posting on CL?

Thanks for any help

Thanks SeRf*X,

If I understand what you are saying, If I wanted 20 Fan Pages I can do this on 1 profile, If this acc gets banned for BH methods then I would loose all my fan pages.

How do all you guys have lots of FB accounts? I have 25 sim Cards and all I need now is a solution to the ip issue.

Cheers For all your answers

Go to internet cafe near you.

Thanks but surely there is a solution from home. I don't think I would be going to internet cafe every day. I mean the whole point for me is to work from home.

Has anyone used Tor and would this be any kind of solution to this problem??

Cheers

still same answer, i dont know FB security, but in general they can't because what you have IP today will be another guy' IP next day, and he/she may have FB account too :D

clear all cookies while using another FB account. you can also switch among different web browsers.

Ok that does make sense to me, If I clear cookies and use a different browser then I should be fine. i think I will use tor too just to be sure.

Thanks so much for your help :D

To set up or change proxy settings, follow these steps in google chrome:

Click the Tools menu.
Select Options.
Click the Under the bonnet tab.
In the "Network" section, click Change proxy settings . This should open the Internet Properties dialog where you can adjust your network settings
In the Internet Properties dialog box, you need to the following:

Click LAN Settings.
Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
In the Address box, type the IP address of the proxy server in my case im using a Thailand based IP (202.29.58.33)
In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections in my case it is 3128 however by default it is 8080.
You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network.
Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.

And that should be it!

Its ok even if you have 20 fan pages on a single pva account. But If you are afraid, what you can do is, you can make 5 or 6 of your pva accounts as admin for all those 25 facebook pages.

(if u have a pva fb account, dont worry, it is not likely to happen that it will get banned unless u r doing real bad spamming) you need to have private proxies for those accounts though, you can get the same from over here.

For your fb pages, even if 2-3 of your fb a/cs get banned/suspended (which is not likely to happen), even then you will have a few accounts which will be admin of these pages, so you will be safe.

If you still need some clarification, feel free to ask me, I will be glad to help :)

I have 5 fan pages to 1 facebook profile and i don't see why 20 fan pages cannot....and yeah i do remember seeing a video recently on how to get one penny click ads on facebook with alot of fan pages and ads campaign running if i'm not wrong...surely that guy have more than i do.

I have 5 profile atm with facebook on 1 ip/country.....few of them didnt login for awhile but it was still there that i have just checked now.

My suggestion would be if main profile has many fan pages....just stick to 1 ip as it is the most important account for you.....as for other profile you use other ip or proxy for those country that you 1st register your account with what country in the 1st place (you know better)

If same local ip's ...1 ip for 5 facebook profile is safer.....make sure you clear cache and cookies with ccleaner or something alike before changin ip to login another account cause usually the browser is one of the fault for fb detecting the same user with too many profiles if not the ip's fault.....if you forgot one these 2 steps you will be flagged.

Other profile you can add to or remove it from fan pages as admin anytime.
