How do i block an IPv6 Adress visiting my website?

Hello Guys,

I want to block all IP Adresses that start like this: 2a01:598:xxxxx visiting my website.

How is this possible? (beside Htaccess method)

Is there a way to block IP Adress besides htaccess?

or
you can do that via ssh root iptables little care it can mess your whole network

Thank you for your fast answer. I already set up cloudflare on my domain.

And tried to block my own ip via firewall but i can still access my site?

do you have experience with cloudflare?
 
once your firewall rule is activated you cannot visit your site anymore. In some cases you might need to purge cache too

I entered my ipv4 und ipv6 adress as the Firewall Rule but i can still access my site. I dont know why it is not working.
 
Use the Wordfence plugin if it's a Wordpress website. You can activate with the premium version with this guide and you can add easily the IP to the firewall
 
many people reported same issue with cloudflare its hard to tell why it happens to few users. Try alternative with ssh

How can i block via ssh? Im hosting my website on shared hosting?
 
Once you login to cpanel you should see IP blocker thing in security tab or firewall tab simply add the ipv4 or ipv6 and they should be blocked.
 
You can block the access physically by using a tool like "iptables" under Linux.
 
You could use regex in your website code and redirect ipv6 to 404 page for example.
