    Hey everyone!

I'm trying to learn how to be a great content writer. Honestly, I have no idea where to learn from. I'm in the business niche and I'll be writing about ~500 words per day for my own use. Any guidance is appreciated.

    Thanks BHW!

Never used them, so can't honestly recommend them. Good luck with your writing though

Here’s an article from Tim Soulo of Ahrefs on making phenomenal content: https://medium.com/ahrefs-marketing...ot-thousands-of-paying-customers-1fbd7e6b145a

One thing I think he could have added was lateral thinking. It works really well for creativity and informational content.

The idea is to take two completely different topics or ideas and use them to explain something.

Let’s say you’re selling information on how to pick up girls. You will need plenty of content answering questions, advertising copy, actionable guides, etc.

Through research, you realize your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) tends to have social anxiety.

Instead of telling them what to say to girls, take the “pick up” topic and cross reference it with the “psychology of social anxiety.”

Then create content to explain how they can improve their results through understanding their deeper psychological issue.

Since you’re writing about businesses—try cross referencing your topic with something like biology.

Should businesses work like a well oiled ‘machine’, or should be treated more like a living, breathing, organism?

I guarantee this makes the best content on the web 60% of the time—everytime.

Write a lot AND read a lot.

It doesn't matter what you read or write. However, it works better if you stick to your niche.

    Here are some quick tips:
    • Keep it concise. Don't write more than necessary. Reread and pull out everything that doesn't add to the point you're trying to make.
    • Avoid excessively using passive voice.
    • Switch up your sentence structure. Long sentences, short sentences, different verb order, etc.
    • Don't use the same word to start a sentence more than two times.
    • Short paragraphs.

For me, I started writing on my blog. After having so many articles stacked up, I looked back and realize how much I’ve improve. My older blog posts were really cringe and blogging has helped me tons.
