How do I backup my wordpress site and EVERYTHING that's on it?

Can anyone help me? I heard these standard backup plugins aren't fitting the case... How do you backup yours?

You can get plugins to make it easier which will also restore a backup for you.

But if you don't want to do it with a plugin you need to backup 2 things:

1: All the files, pages, images from the server via FTP, can be done when you login to ftp manager from your hosting or using a ftp manager program
2: The MySQL database which you can access via PHPMyAdmin when you login to your hosting

Log on to FTP and back up all your WordPress files which is very easy.
Then back up SQL database which is also very easy with phpadmin

If anything ever happens just upload files and execute SQL code that you backed up.
 
I haven't had any problems with the plug ins I have used, just make sure you back up frequently.
 
I think most plugins only backup the database, so FTP is the only option for backing and the pages, themes and images.
 
Thanks for all your replies. I'm scared that I get suspended and LOSE everything. Is there no tool that Downloads the ftp files automatically on a daily basis? And what about the sql files?
 
I use this plugin called "BackUpWordPress", it backup my entire site including databases. Can schedule time for backup, is free and is really useful. Try it.
