How do I automatically update facebook fan pages?

Hey gang.

I'm just getting started with FB fan pages. What I'm trying to do is, update facebook fan page wall posts automatically by sending a feed to the page.

So the way to do that that I have found is :
1. outsourcing the status updates.
2. using the paid service involver that will take your rss feed and update your wall. the free version will not do that.
3. create your own facebook app. I have not researched that enough
4. do something with the facebook mark up language that pulls your feed.I need to research that a bit more also
5. selective twitter service. which for some reason is VERY buggy for me and is not working at all right now.

So what are you doing, to update your FB fan page wall status without manually doing it? And for free or low cost?

you can add rss app and automatically promote your blog in notes but you can't automatically update your page status. At least I don't know you can

I'm trying to do something similar. I'd like to have my Facebook account automatically post a comment whenever one of the companies that I'm a fan of posts a status update. If possible, I'd prefer to have different comments for each company. Is this possible with either of the tools mentioned above? If not, is there another tool or service that will do the trick?
