How do I access a password-protected Outlook PST file without knowing the password?

Hi,
I have to access my password -protected PST file, but i have forgotten the password. Is there any way by which i can remove the password or gain access to Outlook PST file?

You might need to use a proper PST recovery solution, but be careful with random tools online. Some of them are not really safe.

If it’s your PST, first check if the password was saved somewhere (old notes, password manager, etc.). PST passwords aren’t really meant for recovery, so your best bet is using a PST recovery tool or restoring from an older backup. Don’t mess with random “unlockers” though, lots of them are just junk.

if it’s your pst file and try your old or saved passwords first and if that doesn’t work a trusted pst recovery tool may help recover access.

hi you can try a trusted pst recovery tool becasue it may help remove or recover the password and access the file.
