If my website has blog posts which are around 10,000 words each on the subject of the site. How does it help my website?

Thank you.

If done right, it will increase topical relevancy of the website and the posts themselves can rank for many new keywords.

well, when you post it, that blog will create new keywords which will google notice, and because of that you will increase overall site power. But be sure that blogs are top quality

in parallel as others have mentioned, if done wrong , it will hurt your ranking. if you want to get ranked for "best red appes"; dont have 2 blog posts about best red apples. you will confuse big uncle G and will have a hard time getting to number 1 position.

Your question is as much as asking what would be driving the car help me?
If you do target some good keywords with similar SERP results to this content, then it will do help your ranking if it's a decent one,
Such a huge article do usually help you target & rank for a large scale of keywords which would help the website to gain some authority & do help google to find out what niche you're targetting

You’re saying that if you have a website that has many posts, and each of them averages 10,000 words each, would this automatically rank your site?

That's how I read your question; correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, there are a lot of things going on with that question.

There are a lot of variables that you need to be clear on for you to get the outcome that you desire.

That's the bottom line.

First, just how well organized are those blog posts?

Ten thousand words are a lot of content, and if you just dump all that text onto a page, it’s probably not going to help the user all that much.

There is such a thing as too much information.

It has to be organized properly with the right subheadings that target the right sub-keywords, and there should be some FAQ section if you can manage it.

Boil down a lot of the content into an FAQ question to make that much content easier to process.

The most important question to ask is, “How well does the content answer the intent of the people searching for the keywords that led them to that content?”

That is the one million–dollar question that you need to have a convincing answer for!

So if your 10,000-word article beats around the bush or talks about something that is completely unrelated, you're probably not going to rank all that well.

At the end of the day, it’s all about quality over quantity.

Do not mistake word count for search relevance.

You have to remember: Google’s customer is not us (web publishers); it is the user.

So if you make the user happy by giving them the value that they came for, then Google will reward you.

Focus on search intent, and make sure that those 10,000 words are the best content in terms of comprehensiveness, relevance, and accuracy.

Apart from above mentioned benefits, you can also interlink to service/product pages with targeted keywords.

Blog posts allow you and your business to publish insights, thoughts, and stories on your website about any topic. They can help you boost brand awareness, credibility, conversions, and revenue. Most importantly, they can help you drive traffic to your website.
