How difficult would an opt-in bot be to build?

I was considering this a few years back, and I've decided to revisit its potential.

I wanted to know how easy it would be to create either a bot or a script (whichever is easiest) that enables the submission of email addresses into an opt-in form with a major email marketing provider (such as AWeber) with the following capabilities:

- use of a text list of proxies to make the IPs all look legitimately different
- opt-ins at different intervals by setting parameters for randomized submission
- referrer link spoofing (if necessary)
- the submission via a CSV list of the first name and email address

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I'll be damned if I ever figure out these forums.

You can use uBot, but honestly to build something like that isn't really much work.

You could use a macro recorder for that purpose. It is a do and reapeat action with no variables you can't reproduce with the mouse.

fatboy right here on BHW is the dude to make the BOT!

Sounds so familiar like the simple one I did for someone before. Not too hard especially as it can be made with ubot pretty simple, imacros etc.. Should be able to get this by a pro here pretty cheap. good luck

The actual bot to perform those actions is pretty easy to make, the hard part is getting the users to accept the subscription to your email list because aweber requires a confirmation. It will be hard because they will get a confirmation email randomly and will most likely not want to opt in.

You can set it to single opt-in.

But how are you going to ensure those subscribers you import double opt-in? Doesn't Aweber require that these days?

Nonetheless, the bot itself as desired is quite easy to develop. Excellent project for a beginner developer to learn. :)

hi otrap hows it going,

still remember i use macros? i can easily do it and have been thinking about it doing it for some time now but i cant figure out this one

if i figure something out ill pm you

They do if the leads are actually imported.

They do not if the leads are generated through an opt-in box.

If it's that simple, the lowest bid is pretty much going to be who gets the job.

PS - Nice to hear from you DK.
