Try investing that money in your own education (by that i mean buy a course or try to learn php on yourself).

Use chatGPT where you do not know or put him to write code and just debug and test. This is how i make my own script for my recipes websites and it's doing pretty well.

No, I am not rejecting anybody. It's just all coders giving me their opinion. And my arguments why I dont want to get scammed are the same but you seem to reject that idea.

If you write your project requirements the same as you describe your problems on forums, you will have a bad time.
If crypto is only option, you can use upwork or peopleperhour to select developers who has good track record and then invite them to talk over telegram and then offer them to pay in crypto. Expect prepayment as obligatory in this kind of scenario.

Find a way to convert your crypto to some other form of payment,
there are VCC (also in marketplace) where you can top-up using crypto.
Unless you are building a DNM and need complete anonymity, this is a way to go.

The reason most decent coders ask for prepayment is because they are in HIGH DEMAND. They may already be preoccupied elsewhere and they don't really care if you say yes or no.

Weird, casual talk is comparable to project descriptions? If you think like that, I really hope your clients are still satisfied with what they get.

I think that you complain a lot, with good casual talk you would already have multiple possible solutions, hiring PHP dev is incredibly easy. Your assumption that I work with clients and that my deliverables are low quality only confirms that your bad vibes is what is holding you back.

I get the same negative vibes from you, as seen by your first statement telling me I am the problem without knowing any details and understanding the side of the client.
Not with the requirements I have. You probably missed it, but it's difficult to get someone who doesn't want prepayment (works on his server, so not that I run off with the work) and has reasonable pricing, and accepts Crypto.

Well, you are right, somehow I don't feel cheerful today. Sorry about that. You gave me flashbacks of what bad client sounds like back from the time when I had a software development agency.
But you list all the red flags as dangerous client who can run off with the work and not pay after the work is done.
So you would need to add some empathy for the developer too, take things from their perspective.
You want them to be:
- cheap
- work on your machine
- don't ask for any guarantees(prepayment)
- and accept only your payment option
You will need to adjust at least a few of these to be good for the other party if you want good developer who has experience and good work ethics because with these requirements you are placing your own time at risk trying to work with bad developers. because simply there wont be anyone else who will accept these terms.

What? Where did you read that? Reasonable means I don't pay for the result but for the work. It seems most coders think that if I make x amount of money with a project they can charge based on that?

What about the classic 50/50 or 33/33/33 solution?
e. g. 50 % upfront, 50 % for the final release

Generally you should work through prepaid milestones when working with crypto. Just set shorter milestones and you won't risk much and the worker will be happy.
