It was a kernel level antivirus called falcon by crowdstrike
Lots of laptop did got hit mostly they were the ones that were given by the employer they already had this antivirus installed so yeh and lots of other windows enterprise servers that were running on cloud also had this antivirus

Yeah I think windows machines are only useful for two things - Gaming (this is gonna change very soon!) and SEO softwares lol.
What they do?Was planning to use their service for a new laptop but in end didn’t get old laptop so got saved. What about you’ll?
how did this affect Microsoft's trust?had no problem at all but this is a huge security risk and now microsoft trust is on the ground and make me thing to have a second OS for any security reason.
