I've tried to diversify my anchor text ratio, which worked for my other niche site. Two months later I finally gained some of my rankings back (lost 90% of my traffic).
My other niche site didn't recover. It has about 8 affiliated links per page.
Do you think replacing those links to temporarily point at authority sites might make a difference? It is a big project to do, wouldn't want to do it for nothing.
