So I was sitting in front of my screen yesterday evening looking at my earnings for the day and I got super stoked when I saw I crossed the $300 line for the first time with affiliate marketing. Then I remembered how I reacted when I started out with affiliate marketing..
I had a hard time struggling at first but after 6 months of hard work I found the key to success and saw my earnings increase each and everyday. I was making big jumps in a short time which made me super happy but anxious at the same time. I was constantly monitoring my earnings, disbelieving what I saw and being affraid I could lose it all. After a while I learned how to deal with the "pressure" by reinvesting a part of my money to create multiple income streams but honestly it took me a while to get used to the money coming in.

I was just wondering if you guys remembered the first time you started earning them sweet monkies and how you handled it?

I was an idiot and took the next month off and didn't immediately reinvest like every business class and theory has ever taught me, like an idiot.

People, don't be an idiot like I was. Success needs to be perpetual or else you're just resting on your laurels.

Nothing really changed about my behavior, and that was the problem. I didn't really care or appreciate my success for what it was; maybe I was nervous and apprehensive like you were. It was $100, so what? Then $1000, so what? That has since changed. Acted like a damn fool I did. Talking like Yoda now I am.

Hi, I'm really new to this internet marketing business, and everybody is talking big words I do not understand.
I'm a young marketing student, wanting to earn as much extra cash as possible.

Do you think you could teach me a couple things?
I've been searching the BHW forum for days, but I still feel a bit helpless

Cheers
Greg

I shit my pants and then bought a fuck ton of lottery tickets, it's the only true way to gain an automatic profit.

I don't do affiliate marketing so it was different. The checks would come in sporadically then one day I realized I made 6k that month.... then checks kept coming more frequently.

Interested in affiliate marketing though. Just don't know where to start with that. Good to know you guys are doing well though!

happened few days ago actually... had my first three "100 dollar a day" days in a row, today bumped back to regular 30-60/day. it motivated me to reinvest everything and work on my biz, so i can be financially free few years from now.

but, im from eu country so its not that big cash anyways... after conversion rate + taxes its not enough for anything more then middle class life.... working my ass right now to beat 250/day next year and 500/day in 2 years max.

^^^This This This!

For me it was a bit different, once I hit 5 figures a month I totally slacked off. Next thing you know Google comes along and slaps me down and I went to nothing overnight because I was doing nothing. Do NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. Keep working, reinvest, and diversify!

The past doesn't matter, as long as you learn from your mistakes. The first year I didn't change too much either. Just kept working my regular day job (because of the fear of losing it all and becoming broke) and after 4 months I gradually started reinvesting the money I made. But to be honest that took quite the effort.. If I had a $4k monthly pay check it was hard for me to spend like $200 on a project I wasn't 100% sure to make a decent ROI on, because well.. I worked hard for that money and wanted to enjoy it. Eventually I turned around and realized I had to do something to safeguard the new lifestyle I was going to live. Made some bold moves and was lucky enough to see most of them pay off. As of now my affiliate earnings are 100% used to start up other businesses

Basically what LakeForest said. I was earning over $1k/day with a black hat method a few years ago. I was an idiot and didn't reinvest anything. I thought I was going to be making money forever and didn't see the need to reinvest. I was still in College at the time and partied my money away. The other guys went into PPV and other advertising while I blew all my money. It's all good though. Next time I strike gold I won't be so stupid. I'm also building a white hat business these days anyway, which will be a longterm money maker rather than a hit and quit kind of business.

the first way I reacted was by thinking now lets make $200! Scale up! Get motivated, there is money out there find or create opportunities! They don't come and find you. Action! Not words!

Peace!

Its true that you slack of when you see a number that allows you live well. I never seen big businessmen slack of even though they are wealthy, they just keep working harder, hustle smarter. There is a lesson in that

Yeah but didn't you have that "WTF, is this happening?" moment like I had? :D

I havent reached but as soon as I reach that the first thing im gonna do is get $1k, open a poker table and go nuts :p

Though i wont gamble all my money, only thosr $1k

Lets see how long it takes me to get there :)

The day when I went over $200, I was like "Holy shit, this isn't that hard. I'm gonna be a millionaire!"... Well, that was just recently actually so I'm still pretty stoked.

Honestly, it really didn't feel as great as I thought it would but I still realize how fortunate I am to not have to actually work for a living and to know that it doesn't matter where in the world I live I can still fire up my computer and make money.

By saying "Woot!" several hundred times. When my partner informed me we were over 1k for the day when i woke up i told him to shut the fuck up in disbelief.

It's much more exciting to hit a milestone that gets you passed the point that you can pay your bills this month.
