How did you make money with email marketing

It actually took me a few years to realize that, all I should do from now on is to use all the methods I know to collect as many Emails as possible.

1. Found longtail/short keywords
2. Developed Blog
3. Comment Backlink Building
4. Mail Sender/Double Opt-In Provider
5. Wrote on the company and investments and sold Clickbank investment category items
