How did you learn your skill?

For web design (I only know basic HTML/CSS and a touch of javascript) I just slowly picked it up over the years.

Started out with a wordpress site, and forced myself to do any mods to the themes I was using.

Lots of googling, trial and error... I feel like that's the best way to learn a skill.

Web development / Programming in general - started in highschool with a basic HTML/CSS class and Java class and really expanded from there. I made a game in Java as my final project for the class and have been doing a lot of development since. I have taught myself a lot of advanced web development by making small applications (personal ones) and also just doing A LOT of research on newer web technology. Also, working for a web dev company helped as well to see how it works in bigger companies.

I've learned how to do marketing and proper design for SEO through online research and also here at BHW... seeing different projects and landing pages and such have helped me develop ideas and improvements for marketing pages and how to convey a sales pitch to the user.

Also... Linux... for everything, did way too much playing around with different distros (both desktop and server) and now I love it so much that I use it for everything... I don't really touch windows anymore.

I am best in marketing, creating marketing stategies, finding leads for my business etc( I am co-owner of internet marketing agency, providing all of the most popular services, but most of all articles writing).

I have learned my skill by attending Economics high school, and I have started to study two economic degrees after that, but I haven't finished neither of them due to personal choice.

I have learned a lot about the successful mindset by reading self-development books, watching videos, listening to audio books, etc.

And of course by the trial and error principle, the internet marketing agency is the 3rd business I own in my life, so I have had some experience by the time we started the agency, I had some experience as a freelancer in the field, and also I have had experience of a business owner who have ordered different kinds of marketing services for one project. So the only thing I needed was time to find the right formula, alongside my business partner. We are having great understanding and we are stronger as a team, so it's pretty cool.
