This piece of sh*t got verified when he was only 40 K followers I almost have 91K. I never seen him in any movie I never heard of him, he does not even have his own website listed on his profile so Twitter could verify him.

I have my website wich is not some .blogspot bullshit I have .com getting from 400-550 hits per day, I have my YouTube listed wich is almost 300.000 views and 3000 subscribers and everything is my work I do music covers and a show that is 100% mine. I don`t get it. I just don`t. I`m 100% sure he didn`t pay for any advertising for his Twitter account.

How did he do it? What`s the secret? He`s not even big... I never saw him, heard of him, nothing I searched for him on YouTube and he`s shit no YouTube account just a girl uploaded a song with him that got 3000 views and half dislikes.

I see you are not a big fan of Carlos Parejo !!. Dont know much about the guy either but twitter hands out verification easier for musicians/artists and performers. If this guy is a known dj and producer and works on the radio he may be an upcoming star in the canary islands. If he is signed to a label he will have a body of PR people pushing for him to to be noticed...which all helps
 
So that guy got verified just because he`s a radio host to a radio station I never heard of? He also says he`s an actor but he never played in any movie I did my research.
 
So if I would sell my songs on iTunes would I just get verified? They said a website matters a lot. but seems that`s not true.
 
I guess he is popular in Spain, probably got verified through Twitter in Spain.

It`s not about me. I`m WAY bigger than him, that`s my point, I don`t really care who heard of me and who did not. I`m comparing that`s what I`m doing between me and him.

You never heard of that guy too and he`s verified, that`s my point.

Yeah, because everybody knows famous musicians go around and complain about others who have verified accounts, right? My dog probably has a bigger following on Twitter than you.
 
It's about who you know aswell. A buddy of mine got verified because he knew someone, Also have a musician who is not known, but got verified and only has 500 followers. It's about connections. If you have music on itunes you can get verified via GraceNote method.
 

It seems that linking to your twitter account from 'official' sources (blog, website, facebook, etc) is one of the key things to it.
