How did this guy get over 5 million pages indexed?

How did this guy get over 5 million pages indexed?
I can't post the URL but if you google 4164569875 he's the second result. The site is a reverse phone look up and has millions of pages that are just nonsence randomly generated numbers. Any body know how he did it? I built a site with 2 million pages and can only get 30,000 indexed.

Your site might be not older than this site . It tooks time for pages to be indexed by google .
 
PR, age of domain, freshness of content can all impact spidering. I'm sure there's probably more.
 
Should I be looking at the 3rd result now? This post just grabbed the 1st position lol
 
I have a 1,5 years old website with user generated content. Every day there are +-800 pages added. At the moment google has indexed 650000 pages and 148000 images.

You have to build new content slowly each day and not 100k at once. I also generate 75MB of sitemap files each day with an updated <lastmod> tag.

I have a 300K page site that grew to ~40-50K pages indexed in like 2 months or so. I had launched the site w/ all 300K pages off the bat.

I think Google will index you as long as your content is unique. It doesn't matter if it's dripped or published on day 1.

Panda hates reverse lookups, content farms..

You won't get indexed at all, your numbers aren't unique content. Take it from me I use to be a reverse lookup messiah.

Panda ruined that, your best buy an old established "lookup"... or better yet move to Insurance.. better money anyways.

Can you explain the lastmod tag more?
 
It lets the search engines know when the relevant pages were last modified.
