I was doing some research to get some niches to hit and found these 2 articles from the same author.

Code:
http://ezinearticles.com/?How-Do-I-Get-My-Ex-Boyfriend-Back-and-Crawl-to-Me?-Learn-These-Killer-Steps&id=4451256

Code:
http://ezinearticles.com/?How-Do-I-Get-My-Ex-Back?-Simple-Tips-on-Relationship-Breakup-Advice&id=4451225

one got 33k views since june 2010 and the other one 44k views

both the articles don't have +10 backlinks from websites other than ezinearticles.com itself so what's the source of all these views?

All of his other articles barely exceed 1k views so maybe it is because these 2 articles were featured on the home page for some time? I don't think that would create such massive number of views in short time. or what's your take?

Tip: you can modify that search query to get more of these rapidly viewed articles

Code:
site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 10000..199999" "Article Submitted On: June *, 2010"

He paid for the views. For about 3 cents a view, you can hire overseas workers to visit your page and boost your page views. Either that or he figured out how to use proxies and some software to increase his pageviews. Either way, he manipulated his view count.

what the used of getting a paid view into ur ezine

Ezine used to have a most viewed section where articles that were in the top ten would be featured. So he probably faked the views himself to get there because once you do get there any other articles would have a hard time knocking you out of that category. I`m pretty sure, (correct me if I am wrong) that being in the top ten most viewed gave you some wicked backlink power to your article.

Paid views in an ezine, like paid views on youtube make your article appear more highly ranked. More importantly, it may show up in the "most viewed" column, getting you actual high quality views.

Or, he paid to get the article featured. I remember one article, it was a paid article on ezines, he paid maybe $20, and it had 60K views after two weeks. It was a review of a certain forex trading robot... the one that used to be wicked popular.

I also remembered thinking, damn, even if 1/1000 people go to his page and buy the product, he's still banking 3K-5K.

The fact that most who found it were probably searching for it would have conversions even BETTER....

Hey guys.. i found out a way to fake the views in ezine.. am working on it, so that i will be able to use proxies for increasing the views. Will keep u guys updated of what is happening..

lol donkeymails, scrapebox none of that works anymore.

Why not actually trying to implement your strategies before pawning them off here.

They probably did not buy all the views. Chances are they kept going until they got into the top viewed section and then real views started coming in from there. It could also be that they paid for it to get featured but I don't think so. Maybe a combination.

I dont understand how do you see how many Views are there for an article.I am not able to see that option. All I can see is Summary and Post count. Can someone share how do you see the Views for each article?

Scroll down till near the end of the page.

It's VERY possible if you pick the correct keywords. One article of mine on ehow got more than 54k hits in less than 2 months and is ranking 1 on Google. I earned $220 from that article alone..

how about blasting the hell out of them with xrumer?

let's say you post your link on 3M forums and only the 10% of those links get clicked once... even if you clear 10k views after the first huge blast, you can also do it again and again.

btw doesn't scrapebox work to inflate views on articles? I read somewhere that was possible. Gotta try that.

It used to work, there are still videos on youtube showing how but ezinearticles fixed something so it does not work anymore.

not working anymore... i tried it myself... the best way to do this is the Mturk (Amazon Mechanical Turk) at 0.02$ per url click

He paid for the views, and i think this guy got lots of $$$$$

try this service: www*boostviews*org*ru
I use it from 5.2010, works fine.
