How did they do it

gentlemen, as im trying to gain more followers to pinterest, i came accross this person [removed per request]

now looking it it, she only has 309 pins, 27 boards, 47 likes, isn't affiliated with any website or has a social media presence (from what i can tell). my question to you, the knowledgeable ones is how did she do it? I see there is a group board with 32.5k pins and 13.5k followers, which i assume is the reason she has so many followers, but how did she get that many people in her group board? just add 7k people and add them all to the group board??

Her latest pin was 39 weeks ago. She doesn't seem to be active anymore. But maybe she's one of the first movers and managed to accumulate followers from the get-go. Also, her followers seem legit (not bots). That purse board of hers is still moderately active with pretty good engagement. If you're in that niche, its worthwhile to ask for an invite. Or make an offer and buy the account if she's not using it anymore.

Hot girls don't nessicarily garner that level of success. I've made pinterests with hot girls in the prof pic and they don't get it like that.

Uhmm,you can get invited to other people's boards too.
So if she got invited to 13.5k followers board,it would show up under her list of Boards.

Go to the pin itself. Under the pic, next to the pinner's name tells you how long ago the pin was made.

Nothing special, I just followed/unfollowed. This account is about a year old though so it has been doing that for quite a long time.

Oh OK. How did you get so many people on your group board? I've been trying to build up my group board forever but I've been having trouble getting anyone to post things to it

You didn't post how many followers she has herself... since the link is removed I can't check...
If you have a big board on another account and invite a new account to that board, ofc the board also shows up on the new acc...

That is not my group board (that one is extremely spamming)... but if you want a bunch of people contributing on one board, you can have multiple accounts inviting all their followers to it. It is not recommended though as there will be a lot of spammers... one of my fashion group board (on another account) had 700 people in it, and the spam was so great I had to filter out 200 people. After a few months of blocking all the spammers, you will have quality people and that's when your group board can start growing organically as alot of people are repinning (some of my pins reach 100 - 350 repins)
