How did these sites made it to the first page?

I was wondering how these pre-sell sales letter only sites like http://www.justhypnotism.com/ got placed on the first page in Yahoo! search engine results for "underground hypnosis". I see no backlinks from the sites, or are there any bookmarks from StumbleUpon or other social bookmark networks.

It has a few links, mostly from article sites.

There's also a Sitepoint thread where the site was sold for $1250

just type this into the Google search bar and you will see the results.
Same goes for Yahoo.

How did we get off the topic of why this got ranked on the first page, onto the sale of the site?
 
lol, not cuz its a forum! for sure social bookmarking sites, no turnkey site can get to tops easily
 
The reason is the Title tags and the fact that Underground Hypnosis is the first term on the page. Title tags are HUGE when it comes to Google ranking something. Also there is some content with keywords embedded.

Also the links it has pointing at it.
