Hello, I got a copyright notice from a company. I thought the sound was free but voice file belongs to them. I sent mail but no answer. Company in another country. what are the possible problems with the counter notification?
Good day.

You will must likely end up in court depending on their reply. Even though it's free doesn't mean you got the rights to re-distribute it. You can't take a free game and take it to sell as your own.

If you didn't distribute to others. You will evade this issue. try to contact them instead of an email

Free doesn't mean a property as Copyright free !! So you should deal with the owner first to avoid strikes for your account.

Thanks, yes. I removed the video from my channel. But the problem is that I received 1 warning. What else can I do other than wait for 3 months?

I also wrote with Facebook Messenger. Seen but no answer. The owner of the audio file is a Japanese company and they must be harsh. I guess there is no choice but to wait.
