how could i make money from this?

most people who are at the marina bring food. i know i do when my parents go boating.

plus you need to look mad sanitary and classy/sharp. these are rich ass guys they aren't going to buy a hotdog from a 14 year old they dont trust.

i suggest you offer something in exchange for their email. lead generation. just to have an awesomely targeted list. you'll think of something/ sell the list to someone at $2-3 a pop or more.

Actually, they will. When there drunk, they don't give a fuck. Also, they arn't that rich. The average boat only costs like $30,000.

simple..sell alcohol and cigarettes as they head out. Mark up a premium.

As they're coming back sell them chips, pretzels and really salty foods along with water (likely they'll have drunk up all their water, so they'll buy it off you).

That's smarts.

You miss I was 14 and the police are ALWAYS near by. Cigarettes are sold at the gas dock along with chips, pretzels and all that stuff.

Survey = Disturbing customers = trouble for me

This is like your keyword research, no matter how good things you think are, at the end of the day you need to know are there any searches performed on them?

Or you can setup a landing page for the services your dad is doing and hit him for referal fee for every clients you bring. Make sure you ask him nicely otherwise he might hit you first...with his knucles.

I like the hot dog, chips and pop idea. I know the rules about selling food are way different if you are not actually preparing anything, which you are not. Hot dogs are precooked you are just heating them up. It should be easy enough to get a permit to legally sell hot dogs, pop and chips. Its also super cheap to start.

set up a wi fi network that charges by the hour day week month..when faced with having to check their email/twitter or FB accounts from their handheld...its a must have to be able to access these accounts...
boat owners have no problem with $$

About the permit to sell food. Yeah, I told my dad he says I need a permit, I will have to talk to him furthur. I already got a mini BBQ, just gotta buy some wholesale pop/water and chips when the business orders.

And about reselling internet, that is a REALLY good idea. I have thought of it, in 2 spots. 1 for the marina and 1 for the vacation house we run. I could setup a powerful wireless connection as there are many tourists near my house and I could sell internet. :) Great idea.

You could also find out if there any fishing guides in the area that might want to advertise on a flyer that your dad gives out to everyone in the marina. You could charge each fishing guide $250- $500/month for advertising space on the flyer/web site.

Does your dad rent boats also? If not, maybe you can sell an idea to him.. your age can cause some complications.. but:

Opening a boat rental service? Rod & Reel rentals? Canoe rentals?

I always buy grill food at the marina and pay top dollar for it.. this is a very good idea.

Go out and setup some fish habitats in the water, gps mark them, drop food around the regularly and then start a fishing outfit/guide?
