I want to get into selling apple products (chargers, cases, etc..) but all i hear is people saying they're getting their listings removed due to vero problems....but eforcity still gets to keep selling and so does the other million dollar ebay companies.....why is ebay so against newcomers? are we a threat to them? is ebay being bribed?

Ebay scans new sellers with a huge magnifying glass, they want to see if you were just suspended, etc....

There not after new sellers, but majority of the internet users today are apart of these types of forums and know ways to get around and scam on the eBay system, so they thoroughly check the account and make sure it is legit before letting the seller actually sell.

many new sellers put chinese products and most of them are fake so they crack that down

Half the time it's also competitors reporting you as well.

because the axe has to fall on someone and they pick new sellers

Yes, many put 'cheap' Chinese products but mislead potential buyer listing items as UK based. I bought an item 2 months ago from a UK seller, then had to wait two months to get the delivery after I had to contact the seller that I didn't receive the item in the 5 weeks following purchase. Seller wrote that the item was sent (and maybe lost in the post...) anyway, he agreed to resend the item and finally I received it. All of this hard work and not very reliable. Beside, when I buy from UK, I expect the product to be in UK and have it delivery with the usual post office timing. So be careful.

Ebay looks at new sellers extensively to make sure you have not been previously banned or are selling counterfeit items.

Also when making a new account if its not from eBay all it takes is one single complaint from a competitior for eBay to dump you because new accounts are so vulnerable.

Ebay is notorious for arbitrary going after new sellers. Most of the time they just suspend you and then send a canned email letting know that you are banned...once you call trust and safety and provide proof of identity and where you get your products..they will reopen the account!!
Also, a lot of Asian sellers will gang together and report a new comer which usually results in getting your items removed and subsequently banned.
