the best technique to check your backlinks is to use google webmaster tools. I do not know if scrapebox give you very good info on this.

Can anyone actually confirm this?

I have first heard of scrapebox relasing such tool, my best opinion is Majestic SEO, Opensite-explorer and ahrefs combined using API
