Hey guys! Im just wandering about it, coz with a program like butt-erfly mar-keting script, etc. you could easily create great websites, which you could sell for a nice profit.
Have any of you done it before, or planning?
yeah, the buyer will request the license to script in order to keep up with the upcoming updates and so on. If the website does not require the script to operates, then you are good to go.
If the buyer finds out later he might contact the payment processor (paypal or other) to cancel the sale and get a refund because of fraud.
But if the script is not expensive, assuming that the sales price of the website you are selling is high enough, I would simply buy a single license of that "stolen script" and give it to the new owner.
i sell redesigned websites running open source scripts and bootleg scripts all the time and haven't gotten into any trouble yet. if you offer support to your clients, you shouldn't run into any problems. the challenge i see is that you will not get updates for the script if it is bootleg. but hey, get the updates the same way you got the original. if it is not encrypted with ion cube technology or something similar, you should be fine.
