How can you make money with affiliate?

Hi guys. I ve been doing dropshiping for more than 2years with a liitle bit of success but with affiliate marketing I have 0 knowledge. Now I m just curious, how do you promote your product? You have let s say an ebook on amazon - that s an affiliate link; so what do you do? Fb ads Google ads, build an site(if so how this thing with building a site works? You make it adapt seo and talk about book or?) - there are more common ways to work with this affiliate method?

Of course I didn't say nothing about keywords and things... I m just curious how affiliate works...

Make a blog, write an guest post, comment on a relevant youtube viral video, make a youtube video, pay for traffic to a landing page with the product, spam social media, so much...really.

Make content about your ebook on a blog or dedicated website that raises the interest in your book and try and get as much traffic as possible. Also video content brings great value in your marketing as long as it's trustworthy.

The FB ads have decreased a lot in value so wouldn't spend much on those, and Google ads need a bigger budget.

It dependes.

First after you pick the product/ service you want to promote you need to find a good way to advertise it.

In the short run (Although i think paid facebook ads do have value) you can start with organic facebook promotion. Join groups in the subjects of your products and then publish your products.

About a limit of group-joining a day, Maybe more experienced people here can share their knowledge i tried several dozen goups a day but i heard you can join more.

On the long run you can use SEO and content creating as told above me. I think that for a long-running offer you should pick one with credibility and proven sales (The gravity indicator in ClickBank can give you a very rough estimate on how popular is a product).

You should not be curious about "how it works", but curious about how YOU will be able to MAKE it work. Don't fall into the trap of asking a ton of basic questions on forums. That is just a form of mental masturbation and noone will give you the golden answer for free. There are many different ways indeed. Maybe you can find a way to transfer the knowledge you have gained from dropshipping over to affiliate?

You have answered your questions. You have experience in dropshipping, what have you learned? Just transfer your knowledge to affiliate marketing. Dropshipping isn't far from affiliate marketing.
