Hi BHW Members,

I just created my new account on twitter, and was wondering if anyone could answer my few simple questions. How can you make money on Twitter? How many followers do you have to gain, in order to make money? Where can I find a place that will pay me for my account or tweets? Can someone give me the breakdown? Id appreciate the information.

You're going to need to ask more specific questions if you want meaningful answers.

Is there any programs that will help me gain Twitter followers?
Is there any real serious money in Twitter?
 
1) You want to advertise CPA companies rather than pay per post sites, check my post linked above. You will make much more money.
2) Several, Tweet Attacks is the most popular off the shelf software on BHW. I use my own custom scripts on their own cheap dedi myself. Start reading the social networking board, it's all there.
3) Depends on what your definition of serious money is and what your goals are. If you want to be a millionaire, then SEs (paid or free), media buying or maybe mailing are your only real options. However Twitter (along with a bit of Youtube, but not so much lately) pays all of my weekly expenses and it's the smallest part of my income - it means all of the cash I earn from SEs is pure gravy, to be spent / saved / reinvested as I see fit, and the Twitter stuff only takes a few hours a week. <3 Twitter.

Seriously all this stuff has been discussed ad infinitum on the board already.
 
You'll need about 1000 followers for potential sponsors to really give you a good look.
 
I appreciate the information, Ill of course read up on the social networking board, and see what i can do from there. Once again thank you for your input.
 
Here's the basic outline of making money with twitter :

1) Find a popular niche that everyone is talking about (i.e. tv shows)
2) Go to your favorite affiliate program (in this case clickbank)
3) Find a tv shows program that your going to promote with clickbank
4) Sign up with a twitter account
5) Use a twitter tool like hummingbird to add more twitter friends or use the free one posted below
6) Tweet about tv shows, and add your clickbank affiliate URL onto your tweets
7) Collect income by sending twitter traffic to your clickbank URL

That's about it really ... The more tweets and followers that you have, the more people are receptive to clicking your link. This isn't really rocket science, and you can make a lot of money by doing this. Twitter right now is a HUGE money cranking machine, and if you want to make some good money, I would recommend doing this method, and upscaling it. !
 
Sell your tweets. I have a Twitter with a little bit over 15,000 legit followers, I can sell a single Tweet (advertising someone's business) for $1.00

Then you're doing it majorly wrong. I have 22,000 legit followers and I sell Tweets for $29 a time. Just sold 2 literally 5 minutes ago.

You have to realize that these guys follow me because I'm somewhat of a celebrity in my field, and that my fans are actually real fans, not like your 30,000 #teamfollowback fans.

If by any chance of a miracle they're not teamfollowback (which I highly doubt.) then go to buysellads.com
 
You'll need lots of patience to make money in twitter. If your twitter followers are mostly bogus, then I doubt you'll earn anything. Your first challenge will be how to get followers. Once you have a good number of followers, then that's the time you can earn serious amounts of money.
 
It takes a lot of time and effort to get genuine followers on Twitter and the selling of tweets is quite a far off target to achieve. It takes time guys.
 
I kinda feel its pretty hard to make money on twitter atm
 
There is not much room in twitter for making money. All you can do is to sell your tweets or the other way is to promote your website, if you have any.
You can drag users from twitter on your website by publishing the links and increase traffic. You can't make money directly from twitter.
 
i cant think of anyway of making money on twitter besides selling tweets. always try to play by the rules to avoid suspension. with or without tools, it will take you quite some time to make $ with your twitter account. wishing you all the best
