Is it possible to monetize this type of content?Placating the algorithm.
Engagement is important and it's (very generally speaking) a very big part of how a piece of media transcends through different areas of an algorithm.
This goes for Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Feeds & overall algorithmic performance are complicated math that's beyond my scope of understanding, but that's generally how it happens.
Is it possible to monetize this type of content?
Youtube can be problematic in that department. You need some form of transformation to the content to make it 'fair use' or 'fair dealing'.
I believe TikTok & other networks follow a similar strategy with fair use copyright laws. But you have to change the content in some way. And you still may have a copyright claim take your monetization from that video.
This is the issue I'm currently facing (see recent thread) -- I'm curious as to how TikTok defines (original) content? I recently edited a popular video with my own voiceover, and added some editing yet it's somehow instantly flagged as unoriginal.Youtube can be problematic in that department.
