I am a web designer and want to launch my awn two websites, How can i make earnings from website ?

I wrote a thread a while ago, although it needs to be updated, the monetization part still pretty much remains the same.

It really depends on what kind of website you want to make.
For example lets say you want to create a food recipe website using wordpress. You can make that into a membership site, for example you pay 5$ monthly and you get access to 1,000's of recipes. You then could use pitnerest to promote it.
Now lets say you want to make a movie linking site like putlockertv.co for that you can't use google adsense nor can you make it a membership site because paypal will ban you instability and you can be tracked by paypal. For that you need to find an ad network more lenient. You'd also be able to profit from the actual videos if you find a host that pays per view such as videomega.
Lets say you want to start a meme website like 9gag or kickassmemes. You could use google adsense for that.
It's hard to say. It depends on many factors such as website niche, what kind of visitors you're getting. What country the visitors are from etc.

First, before you think about monetizing, you need traffic to your site, which in my opinion is the most difficult part. From my experience for a noob there are two ways of getting traffic:
1. Organic traffic by ranking your site
It takes quite a long time and you need a lot of knowledge to rank
2. Social media
This is the easier part and you see result immediately which gives you motivation to continue and not giving up. Promote your site on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Stumbleupon and others depending on the kind of website you have.

I guess you got your answer already, right?
If the site is new try to add more content, build it like authority site, this will bring more traffic and money.
You can try paid blog posts, there are many affiliateprograms choose one and get started with it.
