make posts about your site around the place. In authority places. Its not like forum profile links for SEO or something outdated like that. You need a good representation of your brand on a couple of big platforms, preferably trusted forums and reddit.

Last year we've tested it with a PBN. We threw around 100 PBN posts explaining what the brand is and how the brand works, and then AI picked it up.
The learnings were that it's not important how strong the domain is, as long as it's indexed on Google for the brand name, that's enough.

LLMs want authoritative content. Get your site with good context to strong pages. Also, you should rank quite high for your product keywords because if the LLM does a search, it will pick your brand as well.

There is no direct process to submit your company in chatgpt and it will start appearing. When you start your backlink building process showing your authority over your niche as a brand it starts appearing in AI answers related to your keywords.
Mostly chatgpt picks it's answer from how to articles, q/a sites and forums. Focus building your brand and topical relevancy in these sites.

TBH, some people may say they can rank your site in AI chats, but it doesn’t really work that way. AI tools usually mention brands with strong SEO, quality backlinks, reviews, and consistent online mentions. To rank in AI seo your site needs Backlinks + digital PR + brand authority building to improve trust and visibility online.

AI does not need SEO. Sure, it probably is a positive signal, but good sites get cited even with 0 BL.
