I have a question for the experts. I am promoting a product that we will call "ABC"
I registered a very similar domain name but using a different domain extension. I set my similar domain name to redirect to the original product. I have not actually promoted this product even once, but to my surpise I made $90 in sales today from Google indexing my site. I discovered it is currently on the first page of Google for when people search the original product name due to the similarities, but different domain extension.
Having said that, I would like to maximize this. I want to keep the redirect but I would like to still use SEO to drive traffic to it. Since I intend to keep the redirect, I need a way to still write content. If I set up a Wordpress blog and rank other pages on the website while keeping the index page as a redirect, will this do anything to make my ranking stronger?
Thank you for the tips on how I can accomplish this.
