You can post image posting pins regularly that will link to your website. These pins will drive traffic back to your website. But these days I have observed that image pins are not getting more views inside Pinterest. Instead video pins (idea pins) are getting more and more views. The problem is that these video pins can not be linked to your website.
So ideally you should try a mix of Video pins and image pins in your Pinterest account.
The video pins will bring users to your profile and image pins will send the traffic to your site.

Link to individual products with their descriptions as well. Pinterest heavily relies on numbers. The platform could be showing that you're getting 100,000 impressions but barely 500 is getting to your site every month.
You need to be consistent and also use tags and popular keywords to post.

I have posted 5 to 8 fresh pins with unique URL's per day without any problem. However experts have advised that we can post up to 20 unique pins per day without any problem (as long as the pins are original and linking to the unique URL).
I share one video as an idea per day, but I think you can post 5 if you can create these many videos.
