How can I spice up a visually bland video?

Hi guys,
I've made a "how to - " video. It's about creative writing. I used Camtasia to record my screen, edited it with fast cuts, nice pacing and audio imho. But visually it's rather bland.
Also I have only made a logo using canva which isn't animated either. So the intro is pretty bland.

Any thoughts on adding nice artistic video (animated special fx) visuals that I can impregnate throughout the clip or include as part of the logo/intro scenes?

Keep in mind this is a tutorial, not a short film or a music video so you don't want to go over the top with visual effects.
Try to have punchy transitions, that's the easiest trick to give your videos some life.
Instead of cutting from one clip to another, animate the second clip so that it moves in frame (and add some motion blur)
