How can I sell my new iMac?

I dont get why you would change to a different system if you dont want anything to change?
im really not hating, but its just too early to throw in the towel. just use your pc and your mac both in the transition phase until you get everything set up.
if you have questions, just ask them. i have 2 imacs, a macbook and pc and each device has its good and bad sides, but for work the mac is definitely superior.

So many software it can't support.

I have no idea why people bought this $2000-$4000 machine just to use Microsoft Word.
(unless you bought it for video / music creator, witch is windows can do this too).

It super un-features . I still can adapt the interface even its hard, for the dock I need to purchase some app called hyperdock, so it will have thumbnail like windows, that would make how your interact with app / file lot more easier.

For photoshop I always use CS2, witch is free and easier to use. And on mac it dint support this.

For design mapping, I always use Microsoft Paint, to map the design before I'll froward the design to my designer, and on mac it have no paint, I need to searching for alternative, took me 24hours just to find similar program that is simple and functioning as ms paint.

Called Paint X, and its not free! But still not perfect enough. It have no invert color function.

For image management I like to use Faststones (witch is FREE), gues what on mac? it dint exits too, even similar alternative that only 60% similar already cost me almost hundred of bucks.

wtf

You bought a Mac but wanted a Windows interface.
You bought a Mac but wanted to use Windows programs.

The defence rests.

I think you wanted to buy a Windows machine.

I've had my Mac for about 12 months after having Windows machines since getting my first PC, which was some time ago now. At first, with the Mac, there sure are some differences to get used to but I 100% prefer the Mac to a Windows machine.

I found that Windows machines seemed to slow down pretty fast after a few months of use and adding in new programs etc. The Mac is as fast today as it was the first day I bought it. Yes, the Mac cost more to buy. Yep, the keyboard and mouse/trackpads are overpriced should they need replacing and I didn't buy the Mac superdrive. I spent more and bought a Blue-ray burner instead.

The Mac plays nice with my iPhone and all the other Apple products we have in the household which suits my choices and the way I use the products.

It feels like everything for the Mac is made for the Mac and, just simply, works as you expect it to.

I had the pleasure of trying to connect a wireless printer to a Windows laptop the other day for a family member. Trying to navigate the user interface of the Windows machine was a nightmare. It was slow and felt clumsy. Nothing about it was intuitive and in the end we had to use a cable to connect the printer to the laptop as the laptop wouldn't play ball via wi-fi or bluetooth.

Later that day, back at home, the wife needed to print something from her iPad and it all just worked. The iPad found the printer by wi-fi as it should.

Each to their own and maybe the Mac wasn't what you were expecting and in such a case you are right to return it and continue using a Windows machine which is what you prefer and are used to.

You can use wine to get software and apps running that other wise wouldn't work on mac. Its improved a lot over the years.

Things are looking good here on Linux ;)

I find linux better for making your own software also.

Anyway I think the moral of this story is, never buy into hype or believe everything you read on the net. Including this post. :P
