How can I save on domain renewal ?

I have few high PR domain names which are pending renewal. Some are making me good money, others aren't (but I cannot afford to lose any). How can I save on domain renewal on Godaddy ? Currently they are charging around $24 for 2 year renewal for each domain (Even if I add some 15% discount promo codes etc,it still seems a lot). Is there a way to save more ? any tips ?

I would recommend just doing a 1 year renewal then. I don't see any reason to renew for 2 years if you aren't making good money on them. After 1 year you may not be interested in them anymore.

Thanks. dats true. It would be more exp (comparatively) for an year but yeah, If PR drops, I wont be interested in renewal in any case.. umm.
Any tips to save here ? Like some special codes or something with more than a mere 15% discount ?

I have also been moving domains away from godaddy to name.

If you don't like godaddy's pricing, move the domains. If you're not sure, just transfer a few and see what you think. You can always move again later.

At a minimum, just renew for 1 year at godaddy and figure out what you want to do with the domains over the next few months.

Go here then try the different coupon codes until you get the best discount. The coupon code I used just a couple weeks ago was cjcPrivate

Whats the next cheapest alternative for a .com with no crazy BS for renewals or transfers?
