    Hey guys,

    I have TOR installed on my computer and on my VPS.... i have programs that have the option to run through proxys...

    They ask for host and port.

    Under the TOR advanced settings they have a control port with Address and port number....

    Are these the two numbers i should be useing to use programs through TOR..

    Because when i tried to use these two sets of numbers they did not work for me.

    So how to we get the host and port number of TOR so we can run programs through TOR?

    Thanks in advance

    I believe there are the settings

    127.0.0.1:8118 --> IP:port

    or 127.0.0.1:9051 --> for socks

    hope that helps

    Set up proxyfirewall
    Code:
    http://proxyfirewall.org/
    and run TOR through it which PF will catch programs and ask whether to use proxies
    or not, etc and then tell it to run through TOR for proxies .....

    HTH .... :cool2:
