how can i reverify IG account?

I have IG account I had to verify about 3-4 weeks ago, so I used smspva. That worked but now IG is asking to reverify due to unusual login attempt. They now will send the code to the number i previously used, but that number is no longer available at smspva. What can I do? is there a way to change that number they have on file?

You can verify by anynumber, nowdays people facing problems with smspva try to a buy a cheap sim from tier3 countries instead of buying number from these companies

You should delete the phone number after PV. Try to contact Instagram support, but I think you can't do anything else.

An alternative way is to use a service that lets you rent a number for longer periods of time and for multiple messages. ( Daily , weekly , Monthly )

This is a good idea for one or few accounts, expensive with many accounts!

Thanks, I will look those options instead of smspva. As for my account now, I'm guessing there isnt a way to recover it since I can't change the phone number on file?

Not a big problem actually...

go to smspva - click on your name - history - look for the number and click re-verify

I think it goes back 180 days so you should be fine

Hi. I actually tried that but it says that number is no longer available ☹ any other work around?

Have the same thing going on. Took a break from Instagram for 6+ months, I guess they changed it to where you can't use different numbers every time you PV an account anymore. My 30 accounts are just aimlessly floating around now, some had a few thousand followers each. Off to buy some SIM cards I guess. All part of the game.

Unfortunately deleting the number doesn't do much, because they can still revert it back to the original number if the activity on the account is deemed suspicious. Deleting actually makes yourself look kind of suspect imo, because you're giving away that you dont want them to try and use that number again. Aslong as your actions aren't coming across too authentic then despite having the number on there you'll still have the option to use another one.

OP you're only option is to try and contact them and explain that you no longer have that number anymore (tell them your phone got stolen, or that you lost the phone or something). If that doesn't work, then the account is pretty much gone. Don't feel bad, I've lost plenty of accounts to the same thing in the past. Just try and use better settings next time along with clean proxies to try and avoid recieving phone verifications all together.
