How can I rank for the targeted keywords?

Hi everyone, I recently built a new website and then I created a links building plan for the site. The main backlinks include some regular profiles backlinks, web2.0 backlinks, and some guest posts. The anchor text is my target keyword. This plan has been going for almost two months and currently has about 40 natural keywords on Ahrefs which contain low search volume. My site still not ranking for the targeted keywords. Can anyone tell me
what is the reason for this and how can I improve it?

The information regarding your website is too short to give you any useful advice.

In the case of a new site targeting a commercial keyword, you should take your time.

Make sure anchor text isn't over-optimized. Generally, it has more negative effects than positive ones.
 
You should be happy that you didn't get a penalty yet. The over-optimization of the anchor text is the biggest hint for unnatural links. You should only use brand name as anchor which is considered normal.

since you have access to ahref, what does it show you for your percent backlink ratio for your primary keyword?

what is your current ranking for your primary keyword? which region are you trying to get ranked in?

The keyword Volume is 4.0K and KD is 20 . My site is rank 80 two days ago, but it disappears today. Rank on the first page is my goal.

there is percent ratio section, that for example if you have 100 backlinks, and 30 of them are for keyword XYZ, it says that it is 30%. need that info.

Oh, the ratio is 50%
 
Thank you for sharing！I got a lot from this post. About the "Reverse siloing", Can I create a post on my website blog page and set some related links with keyword to my target page?
