You could join gaming forums and promote your gaming site on there, although don't spam it. Facebook tends to work well, so you could set up a fan page for it or even try their ads. You could put a demo video up on Youtube showing people all the games available and what your site has to offer. You could even use BuySellAds to purchase ad space on another gaming website.

Social media is your biggest friend with a site like this, offer giveaways also to get people to visit and play, you can always post on forums/reddit ect posting individual games saying you liked it etc.. be creative and think of a way to target young users as i assume thats your biggest audience.

Create a FB app. A simple game that has straight forward, addictive mechanics. Get it spread around, make it viral by allowing folks to share their score around and challenge their friends to beat it. Put your link inside the FB App, like: Find more addictive games at: linkhere

Find game review blogs, owned by game lovers (that is anyone who actually plays games, a real gamer). Send an email to those bloggers (you can usually find contact info on the site). Make a personal appeal to each person for a game site review. Don't just send a form letter to each person. Really how much time would it take to send ten personalized emails a week? So that might result in a few really good backlinks for your site. It won't be massive quantities of backlinks but you don't really need that. Just a few to start with. If you can pick up five good backlinks a week in this manner, then you will have hundreds at the end of a year.

It still the best way for you to keep on try on Facebook because flash game work well in promote on Facebook and it cheap and able to customize whatever country you wish to target.
For sure that you might try Google Ads Image as well which you able to target similar site or entertainment and show your ads. You can easily find game ads everywhere and work pretty well in those game forum , free download sites , some sharing media and YouTube.

Copy what Armor Games has done, but innovate on that to a better degree. You won't get much traffic or money for having a repeat clone site of games as that is a dime a dozen. you could pay for traffic, place high paying cpm offers, and hope you get the money from it. You don't have much of a free option that will give you repeat visitors (the money blood of your business).
