How can I nofollow my read more link?

Hi,

I have a website where on the front page you have a post and you can click the 'read more' button (it's not so much an anchor text, css has made it look like a button), I'd like to nofollow it so that I can divert link juice where I need to, but I have no idea how using my theme. My theme is Polished from ElegantThemes. I tried going into index.php and searching but I can't find anything to edit.

No link juice will be diverted because nof0llow links throws away link juice.

If you really want to conserve link juice, then remove the "Read more" links.

Read more link is not harming to your blog or any other people blog's. Who has said that is in link Juice method?

First ever reading about this read more link juice from you. every forum blogs, sites built in the same method and they all are for inbound links only.

I think it in theme templates where we can edit it easily. Try searching for the Read More words in those templates.

It's pointless. If you insist, open up the WordPress dashboard and click the "Editor" link on the left hand menu. Find the line(s) creating the "Read More" link and just remove it/them (or even better, create a child theme).

Get a plugin for wordpress that no-follows internal links and it would take care of your requirements.
