How can I monetize my video player site?

Hey guys, Im building a website from scratch (No CMS), it is basically an online video player thing.
I was just wondering since the video will be in full-screen mode and there is no way i can display advertisement in the video frame,
how can I monetize the site?
All ideas are welcome.

maybe is not such a good idea make it fullscreen
create a sidebar where you can place your contact info , social buttons and of course your ads
