you need to build a large following/fanbase to use to monetize your stuff. If you've ever heard of vine, I've been marketing 3 musicians on there who have been hitting the popular page on almost every post and getting 900+ real followers a day

Build up a following through all the social medias, get some twitter accounts and start following people involved within your genre and send out tweets of your music, even think about starting up a youtube account to show off some of your songs.

Not possible with fiver or anything similar like this. I compose music too but didnt find a single way to monetize it. My country simply sucks. If you can monetize youtube then you can generate lots of money i guess :) Just simply buy a mic and start making covers ;)

One way is to make covers as mentioned above or try to promote your music on music channels on YouTube (this works great if you do dubstep, house, etc).
Try to put yourself on alot of websites (Soundcloud, YouTube, Myspace, Fiverr, etc). And when you've gathered a fanbase you'll be able to monetize it really good (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube and concerts.)
