How can I monetize an email list?

I've seen email marketing around here once, and many tools for email blasting and harvesting, but what is everyone doing with it?

Is it good for sending out CPA offers? ( I assume that's against the networks TOS. )

start doing what the douche from ALN does and sending affiliate offers that revolve around that particular niche. Just make sure that the offer you promoting allows email advertising.

Okay, that's about what I'm doing, but there aren't many Skype related offers.

Depending on niche you can develop various methods to convert their interests into signups.
Also, you can sell the list. Sell it again, and again..

Depends on the niche. If you have an IM niche, you can sell tools and services or affiliate programs.
