Where does this hostility towards company offers come from?
I have a german company and if legally allowed, I offer products to other companies in person or by mail.
I always try hard to design my offers in a way that the other company can see their benefit immediately, I tailor each of them to the company. I try to go as far away as possible from being seen a spammer.
But they react to me as if I was delivering the plague personally.
If I want to understand what their needs are without offering a product, they shut themselves off from me.
How am I supposed to know what they want if they don't tell me? And when I offer something myself, it doesn't suit them.
I also resent the insincere friendliness in shops that turns right into hostiliy should I make an offer to them right then and there. And of course, it leads nowhere, a total waste of time.
It sucks. I'm less and less willing to bother with offers, to look at what benefits they have. Apparently, even with companies, it's only possible to reach them online and via mass ads. Throw so much at them till something sticks.
But this takes out any personal contact, and I want it to be personal. I want to sell in person. I am sick of the cold digital world.
I hate these useless fools from purchase departments. As I said, they don't say what they want and don't want what I offer.
How can I make money with personal contact?
