    Hi,

I've come across a very simple and neatly designed CPA site with a content lock, where the visitor first has to Like, then share the site on Facebook, and the content lock only comes up when they're done with the 2 requirements, and click the redeem button.

Here is a picture of it:

    Code:

I have absolutely no experience with website design, have only used WP so far, what program do you think would be the easiest for creating a basic site like this?

    Thanks very much!

The Like is using FB's JavaScript SDK to advance when the user Likes, and the Share is timed, most likely (so even if you don't share, after X seconds it'll advance to the next step). These have been around for awhile. PM me if you need help w/ this.

Thanks, and how should I start the process? For example which program to use, in what language, etc. Maybe first I should only try creating a more basic site without the Facebook bells and whistles, and add these gradually as I get more comfortable with the tools.

I've never created a site from scratch, always used Wordpress and it's ready-made solutions for themes, plugins, etc., so it's actually quite a challenge for me.

At a minimum you'll need to have knowledge of XHTML & JavaScript. Basic knowledge, but knowledge. If you're up for the challenge, I think that's a positive thing. It's great to learn these languages.

    Thanks, will look into them!

Do you know BTW how much it would cost approximately to have something like this outsourced by someone with more experience?
