How can I know if one crypto is based on DAO system ?

Hello all,

It may be a stupid question, but I can't find a clear answer on internet.

For exemple, how do I know if AVAX, MAGA, ETH, PEPE or any other crypto is based on decentralized governance system ?

I'm a newbie on crypto and I need to a work about it and I can't find any clear answer on internet since 2 hours, it make me mad.

Not all cryptos are like that. Some are companies, others share control with users.

To find out:

Check website/whitepaper for governance info.
Look for "DAO" (Decentralised Autonomous Organization).

A lot of projects tend to go deeper in their protocols technicals in the whitepaper, so if you’re looking for extra info that’s the best place to look at.
