How Can I Increase Traffic For My Site?

I'm perplexed right now, I just wondering why my site has been losing traffic since it was hit in 2020.

I have never bought backlink for this site but I'm wondering if that will even make any difference.

This site is 5yrs old but has a domain rating of just 6 according to Ahref.

On the other hand, I'm considering flipping this site on flippa.

This site is based on Amazon affiliate and in a competitive niche.

What will you suggest?

I am actually trying to find answers for the same. Frankly, I too have tried everything to save my primary website that is using Amazon affiliate but the traffic isn't consistent. All thanks to Google.

It's very frustrating. I have been adding content, and never used AI, yet Google keeps this site down. Meanwhile, this same site has been doing well on bing
 
So active backlinking and an improve of user interaction may be the key?
 
Where was most of your traffic coming from? If Google then build backlinks

Of course yes. Businesses those who do not invest on active backlink building always lag behind. This is a secret worth $$$.
 
Do you have social media accounts? They are a great way for driving traffic to a site.
If you don't, you can make some accounts and put links on your website.
If you do, you can start boosting those a bit.
Plus backlinking like mentioned above me.
 
At first keep your content on relevant niche, increase social media activities for site and try to earn High authority backlinks.

Try building the backlinks in bulk numbers and create high quality content with targeted keywords and use email and social media to promote your site.
 
Try to Maximize SEO Strategies ,Engage on Social Media Platforms ,It will help to Increase your Traffic. Optimize your content with Proper keywords ,Use Long Tail Keywords .
Monitor how your competitor build the backlinks and how they optimize their website by using tools.

hey friend,

you have to update your content based on the trend changes

also you have to build backlinks and make the lost links active

you can also engage in other backlink building activities like Guest posting, Social book marking, submissions in directory etc.., which may also help you in getting traffic.
 
Apply some Offpage SEO as well , it can be sold for some good dollars then .
 
Get the backlinks from Guest posting, different social media platform and Pinterest, can increase the traffic of your website, because i also get the backlinks by these three methods for my own website to get more and more traffics.

These three category of backlinks can have most power impact on your website's traffic. thanks
 
For stable traffic, you need to provide good quality content that just not only promotes your affiliate products but gives proper information to the coming visitor.
Now, if you are not taking serious action toward link building then do. Most of the consistent traffic, you get on your site is from creating backlinks over high-quality websites. This also passes the link juice to your site, hence your DA will increase too.
 
Using social media. I saw one ecom site without any article but still getting traffic since it uses youtube as an external source
 
Taboola ads works great, if the ROI is okay, you should definitely give it a shot.
 
Some of my suggestions to increase your website’s traffic,
• Use a keyword that has a high search volume
• Involve in Link Building activities like guest post, PBN …
• Get do follow backlinks from the website which is relevant to your website
• If you want to rank for a particular keyword, use that keyword as an anchor text and get links.
