You can effectively increase your click-through rate by using high-volume, long-tail keywords, ensuring relevance, and performing A/B testing.

an arrow pointing to the number of clicks can't help us in anyway, mate. You need to give us info we can work with, otherwise it could be a myriad of things you need to do to improve the clicks... It could be any, more, or all of these:

- your meta tags are bad / non-existent
- your domain name is penalized / blacklisted / flagged by google, despite of you believing that it's a fresh domain
- your site might not be optimized for the right keywords
- your site could lack authority, good technical SEO / normal SEO scores
- your site is too new, like you said, and google might not like you for whatever reason
- your keywords might lack search volumes, which is why hardly anyone clicks through to visit your site since there is no traffic for those keywords
- etc...

Many things could be happening that are preventing you from getting clicks, and we can't give actionable tips until we know details about your situation (the keywords' search volumes and intent, where your site ranks for your target keywords, whether or not you've optimized your meta tags and pages for those keywords, etc)

Since your website is new, focus on long-tail keywords that have low competition but are specific to your niche. Create high-quality, informative content around these keywords. Use on-page SEO techniques like optimizing meta tags, headings, and internal links. Share your content on social media and relevant forums to drive initial traffic. Over time, as your site grows, you can target more competitive keywords.

You can check your top competitors to see what kind of keywords and topics they are ranking for. Work around those to improve the performance of your website.

Target more long tail keywords and build backlinks from legit websites. Also, don't overdo with the exact match anchors. You can diversify them by using a brand, naked, and generic anchors.

To improve your keywords and get more clicks:

1. Use Long-Tail Keywords: Target specific phrases with less competition (e.g., "best lightweight travel backpacks").
2. Focus on Intent: Match keywords to user search intent (e.g., “buy waterproof travel bags” for shoppers).
3. Add Actionable Words: Use words like “best,” “affordable,” and “luxury” to attract attention.
4. Optimize Meta Titles/Descriptions: Include keywords in compelling meta titles and descriptions.
5. Use Keywords Naturally: Add them to product descriptions without overstuffing.
6. Track Trends: Use tools like Google Trends to find relevant, trending keywords.

Regularly monitor and refine your keywords for better performance.

To get more clicks, you have to try using long-tail keywords that are more specific and less competitive. Tools like Google Keyword Planner could help you find some great options. Make sure your meta tags are catchy and your content is valuable, and yeah don’t forget to update your keywords regularly to keep up with the trends!

For a new site, you need to do some keyword research and competitor analysis to know what type of keywords they are trying to rank. Long-tail keywords are a better option for a new site.

On the other hand, focus on more quality and informative content and update it regularly. ON Page optimization is one of the important roles; ensure the main keywords are naturally used in your title and meta description.

Build backlinks slowly from quality links like niche-related sites, guest blogging, etc. Social media exposure is one of the important things.

"google might not like you for whatever reason" Must we sacrifice goats to our overlords at Alphabet?

I was referring to his site, but it probably wasn't obvious.... But if you must sacrifice something to Alphabet I don't think goats will do it. Try sacrificing your data :)

This is already being done, they are getting greedy and demand more from us every single day.

1. Keyword Research:

  • Use Keyword Research Tools: Utilize tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest to find keywords with high search volume but low competition.
  • Long-Tail Keywords: Focus on long-tail keywords, which are often less competitive and can attract more qualified traffic. For example, instead of "shoes," consider "best running shoes for flat feet."
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze what keywords your competitors are ranking for and identify opportunities you can leverage.

2. Optimize Content:

  • Quality Content: Create high-quality, valuable content that answers users' queries comprehensively.
  • Keyword Placement: Use keywords strategically in titles, headers, meta descriptions, and throughout the content, but avoid keyword stuffing.
  • Engaging Titles and Headlines: Craft compelling titles that incorporate keywords naturally. Use numbers, questions, or intriguing statements to grab attention.

3. Use Emotional Triggers:

  • Appeal to Emotions: Use emotional language in your keywords and content that resonates with the audience's feelings (e.g., "transform your life," "ultimate guide").
  • Urgency and Scarcity: Incorporate words that create urgency or imply scarcity, such as "limited time offer" or "exclusive deal."

4. Test and Analyze:

  • A/B Testing: Experiment with different keywords and content formats to see what gets better clicks. Track which titles and descriptions perform best.
  • Analytics Monitoring: Utilize Google Analytics and other tracking tools to analyze the performance of your keywords and identify opportunities for improvement.

5. Optimize Meta Tags:

  • Meta Titles and Descriptions: Ensure your meta titles and descriptions are enticing and keyword-rich while sufficiently summarizing your content.
  • Use Structured Data: Implement structured data (schema markup) to enhance your search results with rich snippets, making your listings more attractive.

6. Local SEO Optimization:

  • Local Keywords: If applicable, include local keywords (like city or region names) to target a specific audience.
  • Google My Business: Optimize your Google My Business profile with relevant keywords to attract local clicks.

7. Utilize Social Media:

  • Share on Social Platforms: Use platforms where your audience is active to share your content with engaging keywords.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with influencers who can help boost your content's reach.

8. Update Regularly:

  • Content Refresh: Update old content with new keywords, data, and insights to keep it relevant and engaging.
  • Monitor Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and adapt your keywords accordingly to maintain relevance.

9. Create Engaging Visuals:

  • Infographics and Videos: Use visuals, as they can increase engagement and shareability, thereby improving your click-through rates.

10. Implement Call to Action (CTA):

  • Strong CTAs: Ensure your content has clear and compelling CTAs that encourage users to take the next step (e.g., "Learn more," "Try for free").
