How can I get the inactive Instagram username

Hi, there is a word that I registered trademark and an Instagram account was opened with that word. In 2012, only 1 photo shared account in the profile is not an active account, I think I can get this user account. If I can, what is the way to do this? Should I send the subject to Instagram?

It's not possible unless you have good connections, panel or at Instagram

If you have the trademark, why not then. Just go ahead with trademark infringement report and you will going to get it.

He clearly mentioned that he has the trademark, if it's true, instagram has to release the username to him. If he's trademark is something else or somewhat related to what he's claiming, then i think it wil be a little more difficult to get it.

No, Like I said, even with a trademark you will need connections at instagram or through a panel, they won't give you a inactive username unless you're a big business or popular public figure, especially if the name is rather generic, few letters, simple words. It might be possible if the username is very unique.

Owning a trademark means he has all the legal rights over it, no one can deny him that, doesn't matter whether it's google, Microsoft or facebook. There is a reason why people register trademarks. If facebook/instagram denies then it can be be challenged legally.

If he has the exact trademark, he will going to get it, but if there are some variations. I guess that will be hard to get it.
