Hi fellow blackhatters, two weeks back, i purchased a theme from here.

HTML:
http://moviesitepress.com/

I worked with this theme and finding difficult to embed movies and everything. So i give up and asked for refund by PM ing him. He did nt reply for it, so i posted in the forum itself by asking for refund, but he deleted the thread.

So what can i do now? If i raise dispute with paypal, i dont know whether i will win the dispute as it is Digital product.

Kindly help me.

Actually, and I have been through this quite a few times from a-holes on BHW that bought stuff from me and caused problems - because they ARE a-holes - the seller will always win this a dispute because it IS a digital product. I spoke to them quite a few times. The seller is always safe and the buyer will get the dispute canceled.

So.. good luck.

seller will always win on paypal dispute. You will get an answer that only products bought through ebay are protected

Say that it's an "unauthorized" charge ;)

You should win it bro

yea...it could work, but you never be sure unfortunately
there were two disputes of this kind against me :) this week, of course they were total bs and i had only 50% success (that was the same intangible item sold through e-junkie and i sent paypal the same kind of proof)...

Do a chargeback, just tell the cc company that you did not receive the product or the charge is not authorized.

Did you ask the vendor for support?

As a product developer myself, it pisses
me off when people don't even bother to
ask for help if they get a little stuck. The
most common excuse is my product isn't
as described, even though I generally
undersell things on my salesletter.

Then they demand a refund, which I always
fight if my refund policy is still covers me. I
always honor honest refund requests.

However, that doesn't excuse his behavior,
he should have least contacted you to see
how he can help.

Hi cloudzero, their support sucks. If i ask any queries, it will be answered by another member of forum and not by staff. Further, if seller guarantees he will refund without any questions, he should stand by that word, as i could not use this theme as it needs license. So even he refunds the money he is not going to loose anything.

Tell him to refund or you will share his product on every sharing site that you can possibly find. LOL
Thats pretty good motivation I reckon

this is the correct answer

Just filed it mate. I bet with you that paypal will do justice to you. Thanks.

IF the seller has had numerous disputes filed then PayPal MAY find in your favour. They are very unpredictable and almost certainly insane, in a bad way.

This idea is fine. I can share here itself.

I look at it this way bro.................If he is not going to give you a refund, Then what do you really have to loss????????????

Now if it is the actual digital product that was sold and that's the problem due to legal issues (cracked, copyright, key gen) Or some thing of that nature and this guy is a ass hole then i wouldn't bother with it and i would cut my losses but if it is on the up and up then dispute his ass. What do you go to lose????

don't do this... you will lose your money.

i have some jackasses trying to pull this stunt in my cpa lead sites and in less than 24hrs paypal gives me the money saying there was no proof of unauthorized access.

fill in a not as described dispute or something along those lines. it's more safe to you.
